Connect and
share work.

Only human content

We’re building a place to share work you’re proud of, meet people you’d like to work with, and find your next job or project.

01 / A different starting point

You’re more than
a job title.

Maybe you built something, solved a tricky problem, or helped a team get unstuck. We want to make it easier for people to see what you do—and start a conversation about it.

01

Show what you’ve worked on.

Share a project, a piece of writing, or something you helped make. You shouldn’t have to post every day for people to notice your work.

02

Hear from people who know your work.

“We worked together on this, and here’s how they helped” tells you more than a list of skills. That’s the kind of reference we want to make room for.

03

Find people to work with.

Looking for a job, help with a project, or someone to exchange ideas with? We want those conversations to start with what you can do and what the other person needs.

02 / Open by design

Your work is yours.
It should stay that way.

You shouldn’t have to start over
when you leave an app.

We’re building with AT Protocol: shared rules that let different apps work together. Our aim is for you to take your profile and work with you if you choose to leave. You won’t need to learn how it works to use it.

We’re still testing how moving between services will work. Today’s demo only saves things in your browser. It isn’t connected to AT Protocol yet.

A profile you can take with you

The goal is to keep your profile and work when you move to another service, rather than build them again.

A copy you can keep

You can download your demo profile now. Moving a whole account to another service isn’t ready yet.

Clear about what’s public

Work shared publicly can be seen by others. Private messages need a separate, protected space that we haven’t built yet.

03 / Your questions

Still taking shape.
Here’s where we are.

A browser-only prototype is working. There’s still plenty to build before people can use it for real.

How will you keep AI content out?

Human-made content is a condition of sharing here. Our launch requirements include filtering, reports from members, and human review. Confirmed AI-generated content will be removed, with a way to appeal mistakes. Labelling it as AI-generated won’t make it allowed.

No detector catches everything or gets every decision right. We won’t call content proven human just because a filter passed it. These checks are not running in the demo.

Who is from.work for?

Anyone who wants to meet people through their work. You might be looking for a job, working for yourself, hiring someone, or finding help with a project. Your work doesn’t have to be paid to count.

Can I join yet?

Not yet. The current prototype uses made-up people, projects, and jobs. Anything tried there stays in that browser—no messages, invitations, or job applications are sent. Please don’t enter personal or private information.

Do I need to know about AT Protocol?

No. You shouldn’t need to set up a server or buy a website address. We want joining to be as simple as making a profile and adding work you’d like to share.

Can I bring my existing network?

Not automatically. The demo lets you paste your own work and see how it looks on your profile. It can’t bring over your LinkedIn profile, contacts, messages, comments, or recommendations.

What makes a reference meaningful?

It tells you how someone knows you, what you worked on together, and how you helped. We want the person giving a reference to choose whether to share it or take it down. You can try that in the demo, but it doesn’t check anyone’s identity or prove their claims.
